I kinda dislike the method of introduction of every opponent. I dont think i actually care for this show because ive already forgotten the content of ep1&2 because i was lost at the start of this episode

Well, they do keep it brief, and its not like they introduce EVERYONE that shows up on screen, just ones with actual information. I think its unique, but if it does start happening every 30 seconds of a 5-7 minute episode, I can see your reasoning.

Why do they call the mc a good-for-nothing if he's this competent?

He's an off script robin hood, and she's a reclusive Shi Jianqiao(the killer confessor), interesting combination.
